You will need to change the motor mount perches, obviously, and use the underhood harness from the 460 as the 460 uses a remote mount EEC module. The biggest drawback that I ran into was the F150 crossmember was not chamfered for the 460s oil cooler. WebYes you can. In fact L and L Products makes an entire 460 engine swap kit for that. WebSep 2, 2008 · i would just build the 351W. u can add a good cam,headers,intake,and have the heads reworked or bolt on a new set of heads and make more power and torque then the 460 built stock. the 460 has a different transmission bolt pattern and the fuel injection stuff is different. the 351W should be a roller motor. I did use a 84 F-250 hydraulic master from another parts truck since the 89 master has offset holes.
