WebJan 7, 2024 · For anyone facing the same issue with the same laptop (elitebook x360 1040 UHD intel xe), the combo is to set the screen resolution to 3840X2160, 120Hz and enable the fractional scaling (using 175 personally). No tearing or flickering anymore. Other combinations usually do not work properly, especially the default 200% scaling.

WebSep 14, 2024 · There is some known issues with the current version of mesa and intel chips. 21.1.6-1 is the last one that worked for me. WebI started playing this game last night and it ran just fine. Today when I load the save or even start a new game there is constant screen tearing on the same display lines constantly and the framerate is incredibly low and will skip ahead at times. I tried deleting the game and reinstalling but still have the issues. Any help is appreciated.

ALSO, check to make sure that the display is set to run in 120hz mode if you haven't. It's a mistake I make all the time when swapping out between different gpu's.
